Email notifications can be customized by category. When this is done, an expiration that has this category will only use the email template that's assigned.

For example, let's say you have a category called Background Check and you'd like to send a notification that has specific content for the background check like instructions on how to request the check and what company to use.

Changing the email template at the category level will take effect immediately, no other changes are needed in the system.

For these cases, you can specify what email template to use for the category by editing it. To do this, click on Your Account on the top menu and then on Settings.

Then click on Categories on the left menu.

Then click on the category for which you'd like to change the email template. Then click on the Email Template tab.
